How Can We Help With Your Foot Care?

Tim Veysey-Smith examining a patient's footRoutine foot care is the bread and butter of a podiatry practice and mine is no different! If you have unsightly and painful hard skin, find it difficult to cut your toe nails, or just like having your feet pampered, I am happy to help.

I want you to feel like you are 'walking on air' after a foot care appointment. To that end each routine foot treatment finishes with an appropriate professional foot cream to moisturise dry skin and stimulate the peripheral circulation.

All new patients are offered the opportunity to purchase an optional home foot care pack containing a foot file, foot cream and information leaflet at your first appointment. This will help you in looking after your feet at home between appointments.

Embarrassing Feet? A patient with a fungal toe nail problem

Don’t be embarrassed about your feet! However bad you think they are I can guarantee that I have seen worse! I am here to make your feet feel better and for you to feel better about your feet! Many unsightly problems on the feet such as cracked heels, verrucas and thickened toe nails can be made to look better with a bit of TLC and the right advice.

Hi do you do home visits? I’m a palliative care specialist and a few of my patients are requiring a podiatrist to maintain their feet

    Many thanks

    Vicki

      Hi Vicki,

Thanks for getting in touch. I am afraid home visits are not possible at the moment due to the current restrictions and the extra time it would take to do a house call. It may be worth asking around as I believe some of my colleagues are still offering home visits. It may be worth trying Kevin Norman at Pembury Podiatry http://www.pemburypodiatry.com as he is quite close to you.

      Kind regards,

      Tim

    Hi Tim,

I just need some foot care treatment (hard skin, cracked heels etc..) and wondered how much an appointment would cost. I am doing a 13 mile hike in a month’s time, so thought I should sort it out to avoid problems. Kind regards, Caroline

Hi Caroline, thanks for replying. Happy to help you with that. An initial appointment with me is £75 and for routine foot care a single appointment is usually sufficient unless there is a lot of work to be done. Hope that helps and let me know if you have any more questions. Kind regards, Tim

        Hi Tim,

Hope you’re well? Writing to enquire for my husband, whose feet needs some TLC 🙂 How much is the initial appointment? And during that would you provide a foot bath, etc?

For myself, I think I’m getting a bunion, and was wondering whether you’re able to diagnose/treat that? And do you work with AXA by any chance?

        Many thanks in advance,
        Lou

          Hi Lou,

An initial routine foot care appointment is £60 at the time of reply. No footbaths I am afraid! I am happy to assess your bunion and give advice. Unfortunately AXA are the only insurance comapny in the UK who do not recognise Podiatry. Hope that helps and let me know if you need any more information.

Yes I am happy to help you with that. If you visit the book online page on the website you will see the fees there. An Initial Routine Foot Care appointment will include assessment and treatment of your foot problem.
